Golfers find their stroke, win tournament #5 by 12

The Folsom Lake men's golf team finally played the way coach Barry Zarecky had been expecting them to on Wednesday afternoon, and the outcome was a comfortable 12-stroke victory in Big 8 Tournament #5 at Windsor Golf Club.  The Falcons shot a team score of 389, easliy outdistancing runner-up American River (401) and third place Sierra (408).  Sophomore Krishton Trimp shot his best round of the season and tied for low medalist at 73 to lead the Falcons.  Even with the team's low average player, Max Menconi, having an off day at 79, the rest of the squad pulled their weight to account for the sub-400 team score.
