Golfers win 8th straight tournament!

Rain, wind, cold, sun, heat, drought; it doesn't really matter what the conditions are, the FLC men's golf team just keeps on winning.  On Wednesday, the Falcons won their eighth straight Big 8 tournament in driving rain, cold wind, and putting on sandy greens.  The Falcons' team score of 400 would not win most tournaments, but under Wednesday's conditions was quite impressive.  Despite the challenges, the Falcons still had three players score in the 70's: Brandon Kelly with 76, Max Menconi with 77, and Connor Gaymon with 79.  With a 24 point lead in the Big 8 standings and just five tournaments remaining, the Falcons are close to clinching their third consecutive Big 8 title (and fifth overall).  Their next tournament will be at Whitney Oaks in Rocklin on Monday, April 16.
