Golfers win, take over first place

Another cold, windy day culminated with another tournament victory for the FLC men's golf team on Wednesday afternoon.  The Falcons ignored - or tolerated - the elements well enough at Rancho Murieta Country Club to win Big 8 Tournament #3 by 11 strokes over runner-up Sierra.  Brandon Kelly and Max Menconi both managed to shoot 79 to lead the Falcons to what coach Barry Zarecky described as "an ugly win."  The victory allowed the Falcons to take sole possession of first place in the Big 8 after three tournaments.
