The Falcons had a tall task for their final game of 2019, facing a tough Santa Rosa team that sat in second place in the Big 8 at 11-4 and ranked #18 in all of California at 20-7. The Falcons nearly pulled off the upset on Friday night, losing 89-86 in overtime in Falcon Gym. A dramatic comeback from six points down with less than two minutes to play sent the game into overtime, but only after the game-winning shot would not fall. In overtime, the Falcons again had to play comeback and had three chances at a game-tying three-pointer, but could not convert as time expired on their season. Sophomore Will Fitzpatrick led the team with 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Zethan Dumpson added to his FLC-leading career points and rebounds totals with 19 and 10, respectively. Sophomore Isiah Maun capped his two years at FLC with 13 points while dishing out 6 assists. The Falcons finished their second season of play with an overall record of 11-17 and 6-10 in Big 8 play after their inaugural season netted a 2-23 record.
