Falcons come up short vs Sac City

Looking to make it a home sweep, the FLC men took a 7-point halftime lead over the Panthers into the locker room, only to have it disappear in the final minutes of the second half and eventually losing, 70-67.  The Falcons lost their offensive rhythm in the second half, forcing up shots and turning the ball over too often.  Still, they had the ball, down by three, with 8 seconds to play, but couldn't get the shot they wanted.  Sophomore Zethan Dumpson led the team with 15 points while freshman Gavyn Kamminga had perhaps his best game of the season, scoring 12 points in the paint and grabbing 11 rebounds – including 5 offensive - to go with 3 blocks.  The Falcon men are 9-16 overall and 4-9 in the Big 8 with three games to play.
