Folsom Lake Dominates Sierra in High-Scoring Battle

Folsom – In a thrilling match-up on Thursday, the Folsom Lake College Falcons showcased their offensive prowess, clinching a commanding 16-8 victory over the Sierra College Wolverines. With this triumph, the Falcons leveled the series at one apiece, setting the stage for an electrifying rubber match on Friday.

From the onset, both teams came out swinging, displaying a relentless determination to seize control of the game. Sierra College struck first in the opening inning, with Conner Smith delivering a clutch RBI double to put the Wolverines on the board. However, Folsom Lake quickly responded, unleashing a barrage of hits and runs in the subsequent innings.

Led by standout performances from Logan Pruski, Braeden Frank, and Michael Ryan, the Falcons surged ahead, capitalizing on key scoring opportunities to build a formidable lead. Pruski's stellar play at shortstop set the tone defensively, while Frank's patient approach at the plate proved pivotal in igniting the offense. Meanwhile, Ryan showcased his prodigious power with a mammoth home run, driving in crucial runs to extend Folsom Lake's advantage.
