Falcons Face Tough Loss to Wolverines

Rocklin – Following a challenging series against Modesto Junior College, the Folsom Lake College Falcons turned their attention to a crucial three-game series against the Sierra College Wolverines. The series opener, held at Sierra College on Tuesday, proved to be a hard-fought battle that ended in disappointment for the Falcons.

The game began with promising momentum for Folsom Lake as Max Debiec's RBI single in the first inning gave them an early lead. However, the Wolverines quickly responded, tying the game in the third inning.

Despite a resilient effort from the Falcons, highlighted by Michael Ryan's RBI groundout in the seventh inning that briefly put them ahead, the Wolverines rallied back with timely hitting in the bottom of the inning to secure a 4-3 victory.

Ryan Edwards led the Falcons' pitching staff with an impressive 10 strikeouts over five innings, but it wasn't enough to stave off Sierra College's offense. The Wolverines' pitching rotation held firm against Folsom Lake's lineup, securing the win and handing the Falcons a tough loss.
