Falcons fall to Sac City to close out 2019

The FLC baseball team finished their 2019 season on Friday night with an 8-1 loss at Sacramento City College.  The Falcons took an early 1-0 lead on Zach Reyes' RBI single in the second inning, but that would be the end of the scoring for the Falcons.  Sacramento grabbed a 4-1 lead in the third inning with an rbi single and a 3-run home run, then added four unearned runs in the seventh and eighth innings on two Falcon errors.  Shortstop Anthony Mislinski had two doubles and James Powers added two singles, but otherwise the Falcon offense was conspicuously silent.

The Falcons finish 2019 with a 14-24 overall record, having played 32 of their 38 games on the road due to field conditions at Folsom.
