Falcons edged by Diablo Valley

The FLC baseball team suffered their tenth consecutive loss on Tuesday afternoon (April 16) when visiting Diablo Valley broke an eigth inning tie with two unearned runs to defeat the Falcons, 4-3.  Falcon starting pitcher Trevor Johnso kept his team in the game, allowing just two runs (only one earned) over five innings while striking out seven Viking hitters.  First baseman Alex Schroeder pulled the Falcons within one run with his ninth inning solo home run, but Falcons could not score any more.  Schroeder and catcher Garrett Kellogg-Clark had two hits apiece for the Falcons.
