The Falcons were scheduled to play at Feather River (Quincy) on Monday, but because the Eagles' field was covered in snow – and Falcon Field is a quagmire – the teams instead played at Butte College in Oroville, with the Golden Eagles getting the win, 8-1. The Feather River pitchers limited the Falcons to just four hits – all singles – while the Eagles pounded out 11 hits. A bright spot for the Falcons was freshman pitcher Hayden Nabers, who allowed just one earned run over four innings of relief while striking out four.
