The Big 8 co-leader Sierra Wolverines once again dominated the Falcons on Thursday afternoon, winning 10-1 in Rocklin. Sierra starter Tyler Gums pitched seven innings of four-hit ball, allowing just one unearned run. Meanwhile, the Wolverines' offense battered Falcon pitching for nine runs in the first four innings. The loss evens the Falcons' Big 8 record at 10-10 while they remain in fifth place, one game behind Sac City.
The Falcons will try to salvage one game of their series with Sierra when the teams meet on Saturday at Falcon Field.
