Fresh off their exciting comeback win on Sunday afternoon, the FLC baseball team hoped to ride that momentum as they hosted Delta College on Tuesday afternoon in the first of three games this week against the Mustangs. But the momentum didn't last long as the Mustangs scored four runs in the first two innings, then added another in the fourth for a 5-0 lead. The Falcons scratched out two runs in the fifth, then added another in the sixth to make it 5-3, but that was close as they'd get as Delta put the game away with three more runs for an 8-3 win. The Falcons, who managed just five hits in the loss, will hope to bounce back on Thursday when they play at Delta.
