The FLC baseball team opened their 2018 season in grand style on Friday night when they came from behind twice to defeat the visiting Butte Roadrunners at Falcon Field in 11 innings, 6-5. FLC sophomore Josh Winkler was the hero as he pitched the final two innings - after playing third base for the first 9 innings - and provided the game-winning hit in the 11th with his walk-off single that scored Aidan Malm and Nate George with the tying and winning runs. Freshman Michael Farley was 3-for-6 with a double and a triple while driving in 2 runs.
