The Folsom Lake College baseball team concluded their 2017 season with a three game sweep of Diablo Valley College, culminated by a 12-8 win on Friday afternoon in Pleasant Hill. The Falcons fell behind early as starter Dustin Jack struggled with his control (3 walks and 3 hit batters in 1+ innings), but the offense took over in the fourth inning and carried the load. Four Falcons had multi-hit games, including Carson McCusker (3 hits, 2 doubles, 3 RBI), Grant Heisinger (3 hits, double, 2 RBI), Aidan Malm (2 hits, double, 2 RBI), and Josh Winkler (2 hits, triple, 2 RBI). Grant Dragmire took over on the mound in the second inning and worked seven innings allowing just one run. The Falcons finished sixth in the nine-team Big 8 Conference with a 9-15 record (18-22 overall).
