With a pitching staff stretched thin by a schedule of four games in five days due to recent rainouts, the Falcons lost at Solano College yesterday, 10-0. Coach Rich Gregory was forced to patch together a rotation using relievers, which were mostly ineffective as Solano pounded out 17 hits. Greg Vaughn Jr. was the Falcons' lone bright spot, collecting three of the teams six hits in three at-bats. The loss drops the team's record to 5-2 in BVC play, one-half game behind leader Laney College. The Falcons will look to regroup tonight when they take on Yuba College under the lights in Marysville's Bryant Field/Colusa Casino Stadium at 5:00 pm.
