The Falcons celebrated Valentine's Day with a 13-4 victory on Saturday against Gavilan. The Falcons trailed early after giving up a 1st inning run but grabbed the lead with five runs in the 2nd and two more in the 3rd. Ryan Pearman gave the Falcons five strong innings and earned his first win of the young season. Offensively, catcher Shane Boone led the team with two hits (including a double) and 3 RBI. Relievers Zach Reid and Matt Huddleston (whose grandparents celebrated their 55th Valentines' Day together at the game!) combined to shut out the Rams on 1 hit over the final 4 innings. The win improved FLC's record to 6-3 on the season.
